Micro and macro plant nutrient are crucial for plant's especially crops' growth, development and yields. Excessive use of synthetic fertilizer increase crops vulnerability to disease & pests. on the contrary it create lower use retarded growth. Both case result lower yields, degrades soils, increase GHG emissions. It is not possible to analyze soils for identification of plant demand of fertilizer. Some sensor are working well in this connection but huge cost, technological knowledge gap and management problem associated with it. If it is possible to measure crops demand for synthetic fertilizer remotely using hyperspectral imagery, would be easy and efficient technique. Is it possible?
