Yes, it is an extraordinary idea my dear @Sadagopan, but I am afraid it is not feasible! Money, money, money as @Asmat pointed out. It would be a fine opportunity to discuss face to face some problems that arose at ResearchGate, such as massive downvoting for no reasons, personal problems may not imply actions at RG...,etc!
Dear Sadagopan, what an original idea! Congratulations. It would be a great opportunity for some of us to meet.
The trouble is, given the large scope of RG, a transversal topic would need to be suggested, so that researchers from various disciplines could jointly participate and contribute to a fine-tuned debate.
A transversal topic for plenary session and individual topic/s for each discipline to be discussed at the technical sessions may be useful, I believe. I want your valuable suggestion.
Thank you very much for the spontaneous invitation. Let us see how others view the idea. If it works out, I am sure lot of more new ideas can come. Thanks again.
I feel real discussions can be implemented electronically. Personnel meetings seem to be attractive and charming but they are luxuries these days. There no financial opportunity even for important scientific aims.
This can be a good idea to organise a thread but I am afraid nobody will sacrifice time and energy for the implementation.
To arrange a seminar or even a conference for Researchgate contributors annually at a place of convenience. It is a brilliant idea and a good chance for everybody to discuss all issues concerened.
If conferences cannot be arranged on a large scale, meetings of smaller magnitude (regional) or individual visits suitable for both the parties can be arranged with due consent.
Respected Sadagopan Parthasarathy, you are absolutely correct that RG is creating wonderful friendships which can be further augmented as at the moment these are virtual reality. Of course, we need feedback from more fellows and I hope they would love to support your idea.

Respected Ljubomir Jacić, Indeed, money makes mare go. I agree with your view point. Even big companies are collapsing due to finances . Although the idea floated by @Sadagopanis is excellent but money matters, may be an obstacle. I think RG administration should think over it.
An alternative solution can be use of web services such as GoToMeeting. Al least, it would enable us to talk interactively as a group. But it merits mentioning here, that it would not a true alternative as envisioned by Respected Sadagopan Parthasarathy.
I agree perfectly with Ljubomir. I am afraid that many RG participants in some countries will have no economic opportunity to take part in such a meeting. I am glad that I can find even some time to change ideas with this community. By the way, I think, what I cannot discuss electronically with my peers, is not really important.
It's nice to know that all the friends want to meet but money may be a problem.
My suggestions include:
1. To meet within the limited and affordable geographical reach first and send the abstracts for others
2. In case somebody visits other countries, we can meet members personally or in small groups
3. If visiting people can manage travel expenses and local hospitality is provided by host/s or their institutions,it may give some opportunity to better the bondage.
i am really thankful for the lively and sincere suggestions posted by my friends. But I am sure that we can find some way to meet and work towards the progress of RG and the society we live in. Please come forward with more suggestions and ways and means.
I believe: Where there is a will, there is a way!
Great Friends!! Great world to live by sharing ideas!!
Dear friends, I am quite happy and contented meeting you all on this interactive platform 7 days a week. Sometimes I feel that I know some of you better than my office mates. Certainly, I get a lot of help from some of you for my research. I'm thankful!
Dear @Kamal, I think that Microsoft (Bill Gates) has some ResearchGate shares and influence, of course. OK, I do ask now: "Would You be kind to organize RG meeting in near future"!? Bill, once again show your generosity!
Please, keep us informed. Thanking You in advance! :)
Great ideas germinate from personal face to face interaction of like minded people.
On- line has facilitated things to a large extent but fails to continue the interest on a theme or an idea. It is in this context that one should explore possibilities of developing ideas and products. Still, I feel that personal meetings and conferences can go a long way in promoting scientific temper.
