A correlation is the relationship between two sets of variables used to describe or predict information. Sometimes when there is a correlation, you may think that you have found a causation. Although it is difficult to reverse the variables (independent variables vs moderating variables) in interpreting interaction effects in previous studies, but you may try to conduct a research to prove your hypothesis.

You need to provide a proper justification for doing this in your study. My suggestion is use some new robust dimensions related with HRM practices avoiding previous practices.

Is it better to say: Previous studies have shown that HRM practices and organizational support positively interact with each other to affect employee behaviors

OR the alignment between HRM practices and organizational support can increase influence on employee behaviors?

I think they are mathematically correct but not sure whether they are theoretically acceptable?

If there are mixed results previously considering the relationships then you have a justification to re-check the relationships from your HRM practices focused angle. I hope alot of management theories can possibly support your hypothesises.
