I am finding on the web that most of the young scientists are making payments for getting their research paper published quickly, to the big business houses, who are publishing scientific research journals on line without any peer review. Therefore, is it ok for scientific community to accept research papers being published by business houses online after taking money from the authors?. Moreover. acceptance is received within 24 hrs from the publisher.Kindly enlighten myself in this regard.
I agree with Gursharan in the point of non availability of English guidance for the researchers. However, there are some universities encourages researchers to quickly publish and get PhD degree. This is the main reason for the same. I also agree that quality of the articles published in the different paid sometimes fails to meet the minimum quality level. There is a need for improving the overall system.
People usually publish their data of less importance in paid journals. Also papers are not written well and lack technical aspect such as good justification of facts, etc.
