I have come to understand that a research proposal includes the background of your problem of investigation and does not show literature between variables of interest to you in the study. I also realize that many proposals do not include a section on literature review which can then lead to formulating the hypothesis. If this is the case must the hypothesis be part of a research proposal? how should it be structured? Please help me clear my mind.
