As a requirment to prove a novel species of Paracoccus I want to conduct some physiological tests.

Through literature review, I found out that some studies peformed only API 20 NE + Biolog GEN tests and others -API 50CH and API NE 20 and API Zym tests.

I would like to know what are the standard physiological tests that are indispensible for proving a novel species from Paracoccus genus.

I´m intending to do API 20NE and Biolog GEN III tests (not API zym) in addition to other polyphasic approches. Is that sufficent for demarcation on physiological level inaddition to FAMES?
