I am going to use acetonitrile as the solvent and tetrabutylammonium perchlorate as the supporting electrolyte to oxidize some organic compounds in non-aqueous solution. Can I inject such a this solution directly to the GC-MS? Is there any problem with having tetrabutylammonium perchlorate 0.1 M inside the solution? Is it going to damage the GC-MS?
