In a cohort study, risk factor of frailty is analyzed. However, the subjects lost to follow up were more frail at baseline. So there is selection bias.
Is it good to use IPW (Inverse Probability Weighting) to adjust for selection bias?
I found some said IPW is not enough to remove selection bias caused by dropouts.
Moreover, the weighting factor is usually made for one risk factor (X). I have several risk factors, so it seems it is necessary to calculate one by one.
