I interviewed 15 teachers from different schools in different regions. I analysed the interviews and combined the respondents under categories. And I did not compare between individual participants.
My question: What type of qualitative approach this? Is it a single case study? Or multi-case studies?
I think, it is better to analyze the data by using the multi case-studies.
It seems unlikely that an interview can lead to a construction of a case study.
It looks like your 15 interviews (if consisting of similar question sets for each category) would aid to contribute to a single case study of your research question. Case study design has the benefit of using multiple sources of data (primary sources using different techniques and also secondary sources) that point to a unit of analysis - the phenomenon or the research question.

If you are using categories such as schools or/and regions then it might be multiple-case study if you will do the "comparative" analysis or following a "replication" logic. But it might be also embedded single-case study with multiple unit of analysis. Finally, it's depends on your research purpose as well as research logic.
This is a good question that should help many readers. Forget about whether it is case study or multi-case study...or whatever. Just avoid generalisation and remember, the most important outcome of your work is questions of insight. You can then look back and call your beautiful work case study, period.
