I am trying to carry out numerical analysis of reinforced earth walls using the software FLAC 2D. I am validating my numerical model with the results of a centrifuge test carried out under 50g centrifuge acceleration. I wanted to know if I should carry out the analysis in model scale or in prototype scale for better results? When I am carrying out the analysis in model scale and an acceleration history (sine wave amplitude 0.2g frequency 2 Hz time 12.5 s in prototype scale) with amplitude 10g frequency 100 Hz time 0.25 s in model scale, I am getting results that not at all matches with the experimental results. I am attaching the paper in which experiment was reported for reference.
