According to author guidelines by reputed journals,
It is okay if any work has been published in the form of abstract proceeding in conference then it can be published in the form of research publication in a journal.

I personally agree with the above, check author guidelines for policies, provide new material, acknowledge the presentation, and also check for any publication embargo.
