I am interested in replies too and as Iran has chosen now to identify itself as an actor, no longer hiding behind its proxies, it may have gained confidence through the aid it has given Russia in its murderous war.
Older estimates of how long Iran would need for nuclear weaponisation generally varied between months and about a year; today, it would need only about a week to produce enough for its first nuclear weapon.
The former strategic patience is definitely over; without de-escalation, we will see a widening of this armed conflict.
It is not yet, as Tehran does not have sufficient nuclear capacity to attack. But the current rounds of confrontations with Israel and the US will certainly boost the country's nuclear weapons development. Despite the propaganda statements, Iran realizes that it cannot defeat these countries with conventional weapons. Which increases a nuclear attack into the future.

I think Iran sees Israel and the US as an existential threat so I do not believe we can depend on lack of sufficient resources. The USA is the great Satan, although Iran can be understood more realistically in that fashion. Religious people have a different rationale. God put them into power within Iran in order to rid the world of the evil ones? That this might be them, may not occur to them.
Anyway, priests tend to look forward to the world's end, believing they will come into their own on the right hand of God-or the Devil?
Iran will not use a nuclear weapon. How can it even think of sustaining a backlash form the US and European Union, if it does, under such drained economy? Russia has not used nuclear weapon to end its war in Ukraine which could have been easy for Russia. If Russia can't do it, how can Iran think of it? What is the gurentee that the Palestinians would not be affected by it? How can Iran justify harming Palestinians? Would the rest of Islamic states support such a foolish move?

I accept your position but limited strikes are possible, and i'm not convinced that Iran is so tender towards Palestinians. Russia's nuclear arsenal might be degraded through not taking care of it, and. if it had been utilised, most might have failed.
