Hello! I write my master's thesis about cloud and edge technologies in autonomous driving at a German university. I comnpare these two computing approaches and define scenarios, in which cloud or edge is a better choice. I don't make any simulation / computation, just theoretical analysis and evaluation. Do you mean, IEEE citation style would be a better option for me than APA style? Thank you!

I think your it's OK to use IEEE style in CS theoretical analysis. Also I recommend to follow your department's rules
