So I have done once Heat Inactivation of FBS which is from an entirely new bottle, and then I prepared few aliquots with 5mL each. These few aliquots of FBS are most probably to be used within 2-3 months. Hence I would like to know if I would have to do again Heat Inactivation for the aliquots before mixing with media? Is frequent Heat Inactivation necessary or going to destroy the serum quality? Please provide me your valuable opinions. Thank you!!!!
Note: I know Heat Inactivation is not necessary but depending on the types of culture. For my case, I guess heat inactivation is absolutely required for iPSc. If that's not true, kindly let me know.

1. As it is required to use heat inactivated FBS for culturing your cells then it is better to use one already processed.
2. I mean, you can buy one that is already supplied by many scientific brands instead of inactivating at your own.
3. Because, they have standardized set up and conditions to do that.
4. Whereas, if do that at our part it may be different at some level and pose the risks of contamination to your culture also.
5. But, if really necessary at your part then yes, making aliquots is the best way to minimize the chances of contamination.
