A composition consisting essentially of two components which upon admixture form a self-hardening water glass cement composition, said components are boric acid about 37 to 45 parts by weight of an alkali silicate having an SiO to alkali oxide ratio in the range of about 3 to 4:1 and (B) 100 parts by weight of in inert filler and from 1 to 10% by weight of a condensation product of boric acid and phosphoric acid having a molar ratio of H BO :H PO within the range of 0.8 to 1.2. Yes it can sustain temperature upto 110 degree Celsius
Thank you for your answer. I think I should form my question more precisely. I am interested in properties of sodium silicate used as a cover of concrete element.
