Agree with Amjad Hazim Al- Naemi, recently I reviewed some papers on medicinal plants containing insulin or insulin like peptides, but none of them had insulin however two were having insulin like peptides such as cowpea. Mostly the studies on the topic were from subcontinent, lacking evidence, required well designed trials.
