I think when a random media changes in time in addition to space, the particle at a definite location at the present time is not the same as the past time (it's shape may be changes or may be there is'n any particle there!).
according to these explanations, do you think that FDTD method (that is time based) is an appropriate numerical method to analyze such random media?
or my thoughts are not true and i can apply FDTD method to a random media that changes both in time and space?

i found that my problem corresponds to dynamic random media and If i can give a function to express the locations of particles at any time (function of time)， the FDTD method still can handle this kind of random media.
