It´s a very important task, Luis. But I believe not easy  in account of different criterias of "water quality". I want to follow your progress.

It is not easy to find one size that fits all in such a wide scope area.

So far, most of the data data I got was from ISO itself (or from related People)  stating based on surveys and member sates data that:

- There is a growing interest in ISO 26000 world wide with an increase on the number of countries that have adopted, especially among developing countries; 

- Growing number of translations  and of standard standards but not as many as many as could be expected; 

- They find out a few cases of use involving mainly companies that wrongfully claim to be “certified according to the requirements in ISO 26000” or using the “ISO 26000 management system”;

- They claim that there are many examples of good use available, e.g. Latin America, Nordic Region, France, The Netherlands, MENA-region, Indonesia and by the European Commission.
