If someone knows better and still does something unethical then that individual is ethically failing. Only humans have at least a gradient of free will? All humans sin so... Humans are famously known to be the least ethical yet also the best networkers of the animal kingdom. The first civilization was arguably the beginning of agriculture. Thus, instead of competing for food by hunting, humans would try to network to sustain themselves by farming. Human interests were met because they did not conflict. Many anticipate a war to be the end of human civilization and maybe even an armageddon. Is both the end and beginning of civilization about zero sum games?
