I am working on Neogene profiles in southern Africa and would be keen to exchange my palynological knowledge with colleagues working in the southern hemisphere and tropical regions, esp. in Africa and neighbouring continents.
Apart from the old Coetzee papers we have several pollen and biomarker papers on material of ODP leg 175. And there is the paper of Maslin in Palaeo3. I also send you Hoetzel's Thesis.
We have been working some time on the Miocene and Pliocene of marine cores offshore South Africa and Namibia. I'll send you PDFs, privately. For some reason this does not seem to wotk via Research Gate.
thanks a lot-especially for Sebastian´s PhD. By the way: I now found a specimen of Neuradaceae pollen. It looks exactly like the one you depicted in Dupont et al. 2011, only that the endexine with those funny pores is preserved.
I am working on Neogene sediment profiles in SW Bulgaria. I know you are looking for someone from South hemisphere but given the fact that during Neogene a different paleo Geographic condition( Warm and Humid climate transitory to subtropic) were observed in SW Bulgaria I think that it will be interesting to compare. I will send you my last flora macro fosil findings.
