I wanted to know who is working on implementing neural network in civil engineering. And also what exactly is there work, and if they need any kind of help with it? I would like to help. I am civil engineer and at the same time a computer specialist and know about neural networks.
I am working on my diploma thesis. I am trying to use a neural network model to mimic a road network. I will need help with a computer simulation of how the road network including the neural network architecture.

I am a civil engineering student with a strong interest in computer applications in transportation engineering.
i'm applied ANN in the hydrology and water resources. during my undergraduate, i also success applied ANN in the structure field, especially detect a damage on the bridge.
Dear Zulkarnain, I used ANN for concrete structure of 27 beams but the model failed because of the non-stability of the model. You can say the low number of tested beams lead to failure of the model.
Dear Peshawa Muhammad Ali, I used ANN in vehicular air pollution modelling. The results obtained are satisfactory in comparison with the theoretical simulation values.
Any one would like help in creating neural model. I will be happy to help him, but you should send me the data and also a brief description on the type of the problem you want to solve, and the prediction or the regression you have for training.
Even if you did your model and you like to check, just put the data and the results here, To be seen by other friend we may get better model than the one you got.

structural problems. I mean in concrete researches you need to create a mathematical model for what you got. They are using traditional statistics, I want to use a neural network instead of this statistical model.
