In today's competitive world change is inevitable and every organization must be well prepared to to respond to changing environment by making the organization agile. That means, organization must be flexible and adaptive to changes. Organizational change management starts with communicating with all the stakeholders, the need for change. Strategy for change, must be formulated based on organizational SWOT analysis and scenario planning. Transparency, communication, training, participation and empowerment are essential ingredient to develop suitable organizational culture for implementing change, that will eliminate any element of mistrust and resistance to change. The success of change management depends on organizational leadership's commitment and ability to motivate every employee to work as a change agent.
Change management should be a taylor-made process for every organizations. There are no general rules, and concepts. As my new research - I do with Hungarian SME's - shows the companies face with numbers of changes at the same time, so-called a change flow. So they have to work out their own "package" for changes. Basically we should work on the development of culture, which support the change process. The key words can be the flexibility, trasparency, communication (as Mr. Dattagupta wrote).
The best way to start to learn how to manage the change. And the right methods always change.:-)

Being held accountable for managing change and making things better in your work is the new normal. Knowing how to innovate and manage change will soon become a requirement in one’s job description and performance review. Being responsible to generate results is one thing; knowing how to make the results more sustainable, profitable and multifaceted is another.. As the pace of change continues to increase, an organization’s change capability will become a greater requirement for sustainable performance.
