but how do you recognize a rising star new publisher within your particular field of interest ? That seems to be equally difficult in this age of free self-promotional publishing endeavor. no?
Or any publication that excused themselves from not paying editors more than 3-5 years, without re-negotiation on their work and effectiveness towards reader-at-large? just my two cents
Now a days, predatory journal or fake conference etc are great problem. It is difficult to identify at early stage. One of my colleagues faced fake conference and lost money. Every conference has a certain theme/subject. Review should be subject oriented. There should not have mixed review. Fake conference authority generally communicate single person through email. Same communicating messages should be sent to many person who showed interest. Fake conference authority generally communicate single person through email. You will not be able to communicate other person who showed interest. They are very much concern about registration, room booking fee or publication fee etc. though there are some free facilities. You will find very quick response from them. Generally, I replied to them at early stage of communication that I would not be able to pay registration, room booking fee etc for conference or publication fee. and if conference authority provide all facilities then I shall submit my Poster/Oral presentation. If it is fake they do not communicate further.
Please, communicate carefully then you will find them. Best of luck. Thank you.
