Human activities that pollute groundwater are very diverse. First, it would be necessary to define the field and work area and also the main aim and range. In case you would be interested in the study of the whole country, you should previously develop a project with the definition of pilot areas.

I have experience in hydrogeology and worked in different countries. I have participated and developed projects to study water pollution due to wastewater, industrial water, agricultural activities and mine activity and rock acid drainage.

I would be pleased to participate with you as well as exchanging experiences between our countries.

We have a great amount of data including populations of giant salamanders, turtles, fish populations, coupled with benthic structure fauna,  water quality including E. coii and coliform activity, increase in human activities, salamander injury rates and micro-biota, forest clearing etc from a formerly substantially spring-fed  river  which was up for national scenic river status in the Missouri Ozarks, USA 1968 - 2007. Certainly you have received hundreds of answers. Yes I would like to contribute to such study, but I think we must define a point regarding water quality. Let me put an example, in my country Brazil, as a whole, reservoirs have been built to provide water for electricity generation, human and animal supply, agriculutral and industrial needs. This water has for quality standards in most cases the best quality possible (no in all cases), but environmentally speaking or speaking of ecosystem services does not have the same quality. I am not sure if other colleague has already tackled the question under this point of view, but I am sure, we must define which will the priority of the subject to be studied.
