Fuller rose beetle, Naupactus godmani are commonly found snout beetles in citrus groves. They do not cause economic damage in citrus, but the presence of viable eggs on fruit exported to other countries such as Korea can be a trade barrier - it is a quarantine pest in Korea.
This beetle is parthenogenetic (all females) and reproduce without mating. Any reference to on managing parthenogenic populations of insects would be helpful.
The problem with the proposed PDF might be, that the reproduction and foraging of chironomids (Diptera) obviously is much different from Coleoptera. Many approaches either target the flying adults (avoidance of oviposition) or target the merolimnic larvae. The reproduction is different in Naupactus godmani. I would assume that references dealing with the managing of beetle populations in general might be helpful as well, at least if they don't target the mating process, or the males. e.g. Cavanagh et al. 2009 (J. Econ. Entomology), Choo et al. 1996 (J. Econ. Entomology) and similar.
