First of all, thank you for your answer. First thing I did was check Ecoinvent Database. But none recycling process for plastics are available (at least in version 2.2, the last that we have). Some Gabi data describe recycling for plastics, but not specifically for polypropylene. I found some interesting articles (like Perugini et al. Environmental

Progress (2005) Vol. 24, n.º 2, pp 137-154) but again focussed in PE and PET. In case that I don’t find something specific, do you think will be a good approximation to apply this results to polypropylene?

I have check data from APME and the problem is the same, they include the LCI data for the production of PP from virgin material, but not for recycling it.

I’m looking for data for mechanical recycling of polypropylene. If not available, I will use the data available for recycling  PE as an approximation. As an expert in this field, do you think is a good aproximation?

I have some  PP recycling data from SWEREC gathered in 2006/2007, but only consumption data for energy and materials and a few direct emissions. This is the newest data I know of. The output from their facility back then was grey in colour and could only be used for colored products. Write me a direct message if you want me to send these data.

With regards to PET and HDPE I would point to this report which is the newest publication I know of recycling of these plastic types. http://www.napcor.com/pdf/FinalReport_LCI_Postconsumer_PETandHDPE.pdf For this report I would be a bit skeptic as its commissioned by the industry, but its the newest data and most assumptions seems solid.
