Hope you're doing well.
I am doing research on CNTs in glucose biosensors.
I have optimized my CVD and now I can grow CNTs with high crystallinity and good aspect ratio.The optimized CNTs are used for fabrication of glucose biosensor (GOD based biosensor with mediator ). Surprisingly the sensors fabricated by the optimized CNTs shows better sensitivity and stability than the sensors which was fabricated by the usual CNTs!!!
which reason is correct ?
1.The defects of the CNTs are decreased in optimization process and the conductivity increased.(But why I have better stability ?)
2.The surface area of the optimized CNTs is increased and the GOD is immobilized better than the usual CNTs.(But why I have better sensitivity ?)
3.The optimized CNTs links better with GOD?
4.The optimized CNTs have more chance to entrap CNTs?
5.Or any other reasons?
