Which type of strain gauge (specification,size,prize) is used for force measurement on CNC lathe machine?

In CNC Lathe there might be three forces acting during cutting, Radial, Axial and Circumferential. Now to measure force and torque you should go with Lathe tool dynamometer. Readily available in standard capacity 100-500 Kg in markets. You have to select them according to your requirements. the price varies from 1 lakh to 5 lakh if you are going to buy from local suppliers. Either you can build your own, for that you can refer the book METAL CUTTING PRINCIPLES by M C SHAW. Development of dynamometer is well descried in that book.
