I am using the MLQ (Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire) in a study on (European) nonprofit leaders. Since self- and other-ratings differ from the norms provided by the MLQ manual, I would like to check if this may be related to the sample's nonprofit background. Could you let me know about any nonprofit norms, suggestions on where/how to search for them or values (means and SDs) you found in a study carried out with the MLQ in the nonprofit sector?

The self and other ratings are not only different in the particular case you mentioned these ratings are often strikingly different when an ability, behavior or performance is measured through questionnaires. This is not due to a fault in the measure (instrument) but it because of the subjective nature of the attributes being measured.
