Metaheuristic, evolutionary computation, selective and generative hyper-heuristics/meta-programming often focus on some similar set of optimisation problems. I was wondering if those involved real-life problems that could suggest some way to reduce our impact on the environment.
Yes, I am working on this problem right now, I have elaborated conceptual mathematical model, it decomposition and solution outline, using my own metaheuristic (called The Integration of Variables method, you can find in my researchgate profile) together mixed with exact method, in the frame of 2 PhD works I am tutoring. I do not published yet these results.
