357.4 nm wavelength absorbance in our sample of Ag doped ZnO. Now i want to find the band gap value of 357.4nm. applied from tauc's plot. Can you teach me how i can find the energy gap from the plot.
Band gap (eV) = 1240 / lambda max (wavelength in nm)
Dear Sujoy sir
I want to calculate tauc's plot concept not planck concept. Please tell me how i find taucs plot to put in my value
An extrapolation in the Tauc plot {(ahv)1/m vs hv } touches the X-axis at which point, determines the band gap of the material.
Check the image for an example.
Dear Sujoy
So may i do for catalyst in all absorbance wavelength convert to Plancks constant vs 1/m .
