Firs t of all, there is a point which needs to be clarified: Physical theories do not have any MATHEMATICAL INTERPRETATION! What can be done is a MATHEMATICAL FORMULATION of the theory( If you argue that many theoreticians do not understand the difference, I agree with you!)The interpretation of a Physical theory must always be build on PHYSICAL grounds, and here is the source of all controversies, since physical concepts are not mathematics, but utterances about the world, and so here we enter in the realm of philosophy, and the clearing of the concepts is always much more difficult than in mathematics!

Here, I share a possible answer about your shining and valuable question. This is my personal perspective; therefore, may be false.

Firstly, we have to notify that there is no zero, infinite, 0D, or 1D in real world. From my personal point of view, the concepts of zero or infinite are only imaginations in our minds. In physics, zero means ten times or one hundred time or etc. times smaller than something else, since physics is relative. In fact, our world is created in 3D (or 4D) inherently, and there is no 0D point in real world (every thing even one electron has a 3D space). Therefore, the point which has radius is something in our mind not in real world.

Secondly, I believe that mathematics is a list of rules bilaterally coupled with physics when the world was born. However, remember that some aspects of our mathphy world are not known yet. For instance, the fact that we encounter with a probability of wave/particle is introduced to science only after 1900. Or, remember that we face with problem of dark matter and negative energy, which may lead to 2+2=3or5. Who believed the existence of atoms in 1600?! Mathematical principles of the universe is being discovered and modified by scientists who try to model the observed physical phenomena.

I am happy about hearing your opinion. The best thing in science is variety of perspectives. I recommend you to read these papers in my research items:

Comment: There are many physical interpretation about the same and unite mathematical description. For example in QM there are many interpretation such as Bohmian QM, Transactional interpretation and Copenhagen Interpretation which are fundamentally different description with the same mathematical structure.

Thank you for your replies.All the views are right. But we have to adopt mathematical language for a physical idea.Because mathematics is a substantiated logic. But philosophy and physics are important at the fundamental level.

Here"Zero dimension is not proposed in QM till now. Even string theory also start from one dimension.

I am working on a model to synchronize QM with GR. Based on my previous works I am developing a model of QM in which at the fundamental level, the 3D space will have perimeter Pi-d . In 2D also the perimeter is pi-d only. In the next lower level, this pi-d becomes 'd' .It is one dimensional . So further, it will be reduced to a zero d level .That is zero dimension(It is different from a point and It is different from zero space i.e nothing.) Still some thing will exist there. By that all the dimensions evolved(It is not zero) I will explain it in my future works.

A circle of zero radius is x^2 + Y^2 = (0)^2, which in turn gives, y = +i x, -i x. As a result, a circle of zero radius (Point-like) is an imaginary concept only.
