This does not apply to Iraq only, but extends to all Arab countries. Education, in both its school & university parts, is constantly declining and is on the way to collapse. In the sixties and seventies of the last century, Iraq was at the peak of its brilliance in terms of knowledge & culture, and its people were among the most readers of books, and it was said that (the book is written in Cairo, published in Beirut, and read in Baghdad). Several factors gathered on Iraq to weaken it from all sides, just as they gathered on other Arab countries. It was unfortunate that among us were those who helped to destroy the structure, demolish the light of knowledge, and reinforce the darkness of ignorance, and these fallen selfish beings participated in that conspiracy that targeted our nation so that we would be slaves rather than masters, spectators & not players, importers & not producers, frustrated & not ambitious. The solution is to change ourselves internally and to have the momentum & determination to progress until we get out of the misery of the present to the splendor of the future.

هذا لا ينطبق على العراق فقط ، و إنما يمتد ليشمل كافة البلدان العربية . التعليم بشقيه المدرسي و الجامعي ينحدر مستواه باستمرار و يسير نحو التدهور . في ستينيات و سبعينيات القرن الماضي ، كانت العراق في أوج تألقها من الناحية المعرفية و الثقافية و كان شعبها من أكثر الشعوب قراءة للكتب و كان يقال أن (الكتاب يؤلف في مصر ، و ينشر في بيروت ، و يقرأ في بغداد). تجمعت عدة عوامل على العراق لإضعافه من كافة الجوانب ، كما تجمعت على غيره من بلدان العرب . كان من المؤسف أن من بيننا من ساعد على هدم البنيان و تبدد نور العلم و تعزيز ظلمة الجهل ، و هؤلاء الأنانيون الساقطون شاركوا في تلك المؤامرة التي استهدفت أمتنا حتى نكون عبيداً لا سادة ، متفرجين و ليس لاعبين ، مستوردين و ليس منتجين ، محبطين و ليس طموحين . الحل أن نقوم بتغيير ما بأنفسنا و أن يكون لدينا العزم و الإصرار على التقدم حتى تخرج من بؤس الحاضر إلى روعة المستقبل
