I have conducted a mixed factorial ANOVA using SPSS. When analysing my levenes test one condition has come back with a significance level of .136 however the second condition has come back with a significance level of .001. The first condition suggests that the homogeneity of variance has not been violated however the second condition suggests it has? What would be the next step to analysing the data? Does this get ignored as sample sizes are equal in both conditions? Would the appropriate step to conduct a Welch test?
