Hello, I am trying this channel to find somebody who would like to to cooperate on abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) research. As you may know my goal is to predict AAA rupture. We have developed probabilistic rupture risk index (Polzer and Gasser 2015) which calculates the probability AAA will rupture. So far the results are very promising (polzer et al. 2020) but I need more cases. The inclusion criteria are:

1) patient have CT on which AAA is intact

2) you know that AAA ruptured within one year from the CT

As you can imagine such cases are extremely rare. We searched databases of two large centers covering population of 3milions ten years back and found 11 cases. I would like to triple those numbers to perform solid validation of our index. I am not interested in cases which are already ruptured on CT since rupture changes the AAA geometry significantly and such validation cannot be therefore called blinded.

So if you have any case that meet the inclusion criteria and you are interested in improving AAA management, please let me know.
