It is certainly a predatory award. It pops up after your contact information shows up in a public website or on certain mailing lists. Especially if you are an early career scientist.

Me too got an email, but when searched online, no such body or award exists. It's surely fake as it asks for CV so that they can send it to many as recommendation and you will get lot of calls from jobseeker organizations.

same... i received an email now...i am searching of their INSO awards by i did not see anything about INSO. If this is legit.. the award committee should be the one to search and did not ask for SELF NOMINATION.

Self nomination is also discourage for a prestigious awards.

This is just my opinion.

I was trying to find out "what is INSO?". Couldn't really get satisfaction from what I got on the net.
