I am looking for experience in using input-output matrix for analyzing supply chains from a bird's eye view. I plan to elaborate a regional input-output table from the national one and improve it by survey methods. Also, an extensive qualitative survey will be conducted to discover supply chains in details. In order to maximize the number and the quality of the answers that you will get from RG and that will contribute to your project, my recommendation is including more details about the specification of the input-output matrix you wish to design, such as
- the purpose of the analysis, first and foremost
- the industry in which this supply chain exists
- what kind of flows (e.g., material/informational economic/environmental) and stocks you are interested to analyze (which ties with the first bullet point)
- the target audience of the results you get from the use of this matrix
- etc.
