Dear colleagues, when II was writing my PhD got really interested in information need and even found the "gap" in the research approaches. I dig deeper into the old work in US when they observed information needs through the logs and interactions of user with the system. Later paradigm was changed and we moved to more qualitative research. I have written quite a lot and given an overview of research from the end of 40s last century till the last book Cole, C. (2012).
