Indium has grain fining properties, if beiing added to Silver alloys in range of 0-5 at. %. Since Indium is soluble in this concentration, I'm looking for mechanism explanation for this grain refinement.

Is it based on Indium oxidation in the melt and In-oxide being a crystallisation  seed?

I'm grateful for every explanation or literature link.
