Indian Primer Minister has announced to lockdown whole India for next 21 days starting today midnight i.e. till 15th April to break the chain of COVID-19 virus.
I think we have no other option to prevent spreading of COVID-19.

I think you are the smartest country to do that and stop accidental spreading.
Look at what happened to others that did not lock up: the infected cases grow geometrically and that means many will die. But they have very little brain, like Mr. Trump who wants to open up for business soon!!!
He is thinking of money, that is all he knows about. He learned nothing in life!

We should study the virus. Maybe there is hope. Knowledge of this virus should be spread worldwide not limited to scientists. Who knows someone might come up with a solution.

Lockdown is an excellent preventive solution! Hooefully it will help stop spreading of the virus and infected people.
I am not an expert for epidemiology, but it seems that lockdown could be the best option for India - one of highest densely populated country in the world. Stay at home!

Let us respect it but how access to essential items like food? God knows.
Right now, it is the BEST option for India and possibly for any other country. But, researchers around the globe are not locked down.....neither physically nor mentally. We need to preserve our emotion and wait patiently for the coveted outcome.
That will be the true triumph over the deadly virus.

Yes, imposition of lockdown was inevitable in hugely populated India to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), otherwise here also the situation could have been like China.

The entire world has no option of controlling COVID-19 at any cost! The world should learn something good on how to response to COVID-19 being made by Singapore, China, and Korea.

recently WHO has acknowledged the fact that even if our (India's) health sector is not that advanced, we do have a huge network of basic primary health setups which made it quiet easier to reach the remotest section portion of the country...which will help to deal this catastrophic situation...scientist round the world are trying their best to combat the situation through their researches...but to this present situation nothing can surpass 'LOCKDOWN"- the only way to break the 'CHAIN"..
& I would like to add one more thing... every country will have some notorious elements who don't give a damn... so as in India.. but by this time there are people in India who are actually following the measure....hope India will set an example to the world!!

Several reasons, including immunity, differ the environment, customs, and cultures of each country, as well as awareness and response guidelines and violations by citizens. Corona stopped and retreated in China due to China's tremendous ability to cope with the latest technologies, capabilities and awareness of the Chinese people while in Europe it proved the opposite. Feeling responsible for the epidemic in the world was not up to standard. In addition, China made a mistake when it sent all foreign missions to their places of origin, and thus the disease spread faster
The situation in US is going worst.....still no strong preventive action.....Very dangerous situation for US citizen.

In the absence of any direct medicine for COVID-19, social distance is the only way to prevent spreading it. Though the doctors at SMS Hospital, Jaipur are using a combination of 3 drugs and which has been found successful in curing the patients, still its better to be safe than sorry.

Some states in Nigeria are also on lockdown for the next fourteen days. That way, incubation period will force new cases to emerge with possible quarantine, thereby forestalling further spread.
Having lockdown within the country is a good decision to prevent form spreading of COVID19. I think most of the countries around the globe are in this kind of decision.
