Hi everyone

I am trying to analyse the attached experimental data set using SPSS. It is an incomplete factorial design as the control is not part of the block and the independent variables cannot be associated with it.

1) To analyse the effect of time at different temperatures:

I have used one way ANOVA to analyse the effect of different temperature at one time (10min), followed by One way ANOVA of different temperatures at the 2nd time (50min).

2) To analyse the effect of different times at the same temperature level- I performed an Independent T test.

3) And to compare all the data with the control- I performed Dunnett's Post Hoc test using means of all the samples including the control.

Is my approach wrong? and if there is a better way to analyse this data using SPSS, what can it be? I cannot use 2 way ANOVA as it is mixing up the temperature levels for both times (Maybe I am doing it wrong).

Thanks a lot.
