i being mtech student in soil and water engineering ,punjab agricultural university is working on the project ,climate change impact of irrigation requirement of rice wheat system in central punjab, for that i am facing problem regarding irrigation as how to give it yearly or if i want to give it from 30 yrs in combine,that what is the option in dssat,,,i mean to say,whether i hv to simulate each yr separetely from 1970-2015 or can i calculate it for the whole period in single simulation....and regarding my question ,,,i need to know how to input co2 data in the weather file,,,as it takes 380 as the value i need to increase it to480,,,,and i also need to know is there any programm or procedure by which i can formulate irrigation sceduling for any yr...like software etc

here are my answer, if you use long term study for instance 30 yrs please go to DSSAT main menu the choose in Application seasonal and open it yu have to do xl file like that., so open new xfile in X-build and choose seasonal in file type then add your treatments and irrigation file register only the first year only for in instance 1970 and add your irrigation treatments only for this year only (do not add for other years). Regarding Co2 you can incease level easly, just go to X-file then choose environment then Environment modifications and yu will find the Co2 add your level and specify add or replace then yu can add different levels by using add application below.,
