Conventional anti-toxoplasma drugs such as daraprim (pyrimethamin) have had an adverse effects on female such as folic acid deficiency ant toxicity on bone marrow, so during the gestation ,spiramycin was the alternative drug against Toxoplasma gondii. It is safe and can be administrated till to delivery.
How can the parasitemia to be calculated during malaria infection.

in Toxoplsama ,reversibly bind to the 50 S subunit of bacterial ribosomes, resulting in blockage of the transpeptidation or translocation reactions, inhibiting protein synthesis and subsequent cell growth.

PCR amplification of total T. gondii DNA identified an additional class of prokaryotic-type ribosomal genes, similar to the plastid-like ribosomal genes of the Plasmodium falciparum. Ribosomes encoded by these genes are predicted to be sensitive to the lincosamide/ macrolides class of antibiotics and may serve as a functional targets for azithromycin, clindamycin, and other protein syntheses inhibitors in T. gondii and related parasites.
