Philosophy has always been considered as a corner stone for generating sound educational practices. Each region of the world has a great many philosophers who have enriched our lives through their teachings. A few examples that comes to my mind from the recent past in India is Sri Aurobindo and Jiddu Krishnamurti. There are many such eminent personalities that contributed to the thinking process. I would request you to enlighten us with the teachings of the philosophers from other regions so that we can get a broad view of all contributions. Thanks to all of you for your answers.
