In MATLAB simulation of Wind energy conversion system with PMSG (2 MW) which is connected to grid through Indirect Matrix converter, Power is not generated for particular value of output L filter. Value of L=0.275 uH
If i increase the value above 0.275 uH than again power is start to generate as per the required.
Indirect matrix converter in which rectification and inversion both the side modulation index is 0.8 in simulation.
What should be the technical reason behind this problem?
1) Is it any relation between generation and output filter L?
2) Is it any relation between modulation index of Matrix converter?
Grid voltage=415 V line-line RMS
Grid frequency= 50 Hz
Matrix rating = 2MVA, current=2777A, switching frequency=10KHz
You may have a resonance condition set up. Check the associated capacitances etc and look for resonant frequencies around 10 kHz.
This is because of the maximum amount of inductance uncertainty that is allowable or the system
