Technological developments are of prime need in resources preservation sector. for example, the remediation technologies of polluted groundwater and resources protection requires much more advanced practices to enhance the nowaday applied technologies.
You lose sight of one important fact: Technology is created by people and these are far from stupid people. And nevertheless, if you look at the dynamics of mental degradation of graduates of schools now and 50-60 years ago, then you will see a sharp contrast and I am afraid that some time will pass and no one will create technology, since the human brain will be greatly degraded. Yes, many technologies kill nature, especially plastic waste and this nature then degrades people: Every year the percentage of children with mental disabilities at birth increases and this percentage grows dramatically. Many beneficial insects, such as bees, die, but the number of flies and cockroaches increases. Why? Because it is a consequence of civilization, to which people are accustomed. For example, everyone loves mobile phones and cannot live without them, however magnetic fields kill bees and other beneficial insects. Thus, it may turn out that the cycle can close: following the insects, the technologies will simply disappear. God forbid that I am cruelly mistaken, however, this is just a sound analized current situation.

Daniel - In the era of globalization, although the positive effects include a number of factors which are education, trade, technology, competition, investments and capital flows, employment, culture and organization structure but the critics of globalization include groups such as environmentalists , anti-poverty campaigners and trade unionists. Some of the negative impacts of globalization are that it creates global competition, resulting in a boost in economic activities that deplete the environment and its natural resources. The increased economic activity leads to greater emissions of industrial pollutants and more environmental degradation. The need of the hour is to have a sustained development without compromising the nature.

I strongly feel the need to think about how much we actually need technology and how much can we compromise with nature. The technological advances have undoubtedly helped humans, but what is the limit. In today's world, the entire human population (if considered) is not using the technology, but all of it is suffering from the damages it has brought.
