I need to detect an oxoacyl in GC MS, but I wonder if the purification protocol of fatty acid described by Murad et al in the article Mass spectrometry characterisation of fatty acids from metabolically engineered soybean seeds will get rid of the CoA? Does anyone knows or have an suggestion?
