In running pesticides how many QC recovery standards do we have to spike into the original sample for % recovery?

Dear Fellow beloved chemists,

Many, many questions I have with this new USP Pesticide project. In running every pesticide in the USP 561 list, how many QC recovery STDs do I need to spike 2) does a 5 point cal curve need to be run before every sample or will a CCC (Continuing Calibration Check) single run suffice (i.e. if it's +- 20% of the original amount)? and 3) Do the organophosphorus and organochlorine pesticides need to be run separately? The USP is not really clear. Thank you all for your time.-Paul D. Dodson
