In case of metal NPs if their is blue shift then in case of semiconductors will there be blue shift?
I think the shift depends on the size of the nanoparticles.
Actually there is a blue shift with increasing shell thickness and the behavior of Photoluminescence also shifts. Is their coupling between the inner metal core and shell.
