In a Core Shell Nano Structure (CSNS) if the shell thickness of Ag2S increases the absorption blue shifts. How will the Photoluminescence shift?

Actually there is a blue shift with increasing shell thickness and the behavior of Photoluminescence also shifts. Is their coupling between the inner metal core and shell.
